- Commitment to performing a complete capsulectomy and when possible en bloc procedure by using a meticulous peeling technique to remove the capsule. Dr. Rai knows how important this is to his patients and will spend the time and care to make sure the procedure is done correctly and safely.
- The capsules will be tested by pathology to ensure there are no signs of breast cancer. The capsules can be tested for ALCL as well.
- The muscle will be repaired if possible.

Dr. Rai is an extremely skilled doctor, a wonderfully kind person and truly cares about each and every patient. I had surgery 3/2/2018 and he called me several times to check on me ( even called me from the airport as he was about to board his plane!) to make sure I was doing well after my surgery.
